David Spithill - Principal Physiotherapist
David has headed the team since the commencement of Back In Motion at St Helena and now Montmorency. David comes with an extensive knowledge and interest in: - Pilates for rehabilitation and fitness - Musculoskeletal and Sports physiotherapy of the spine, pelvis, knees and shoulders.
In his spare time, David enjoys spending time with his family, playing football and watching sport. He is renowned for having a big appetite with a particularly sweet tooth!
Sally Pilbeam - Clinical Associate Physiotherapist
Sally graduated in England in 2005 and has recently joined the Back in Motion Team. In England, Sally has worked primarily in a musculoskeletal setting at various London based hospitals. Interests within physiotherapy include spinal injuries, Clinical Pilates and acupuncture. She has recently come to Melbourne to experience the Australian lifestyle. Hobbies in her spare time include travelling, keeping fit and any sporting activity.
Marty Ayres - Clinical Associate Physiotherapist
A local to Montmorency, Marty brings fresh ideas and a passion for Sport Physiotherapy and Healthy Living to Back in Motion, with a focus on retraining and injury prevention. In his spare time you may find him at Greensborough Hockey Club, Eltham Collegians Football Club or Eltham YMCA.
Mary Spithill - Administration
Mary joins Back In Motion Montmorency on a part time basis so after many years of experience in the Private Hospital and Health setting she can spend time with her two young grandchildren to be a near full time nana.
Shea Spitty - Administration
Shea joined the team at Back in Motion Montmorency late in 2008. She is currently completing her final two years of a Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree at LaTrobe. Shea’s greatest interests are bike riding, spending time with friends, summer and travel!
Megan George - Administration
Megan is one of the newest members of the Montmorency team and comes from a medical administration background. She enjoys being an auntie, listening to music, watching movies and in the future hopes to be involved in some more volunteer opportunities working with animals.
Steph Chiocci - Administration
Steph will be commencing university in 2010 to study a Bachelor of Applied Science - Physical Education to become a secondary school teacher. She is a fanatic Carlton supporter and has been playing women's football for the past 4 years for Diamond Creek. She has also represented Victoria in the state carnival twice and was named in the All Australian Team both times. |
