Simon Holt – Practice Director
Simon has extensive Physiotherapy experience, having worked in a range of private Physio clinics, major tertiary hospitals and spending 2 years gaining further experience working in London. He moved back to Melbourne from London in 2007 to take up his position as Principal Physiotherapist at Back In Motion Blackburn and has since become a Practice Director.
Whilst developing a broad skill set during his time as a Physiotherapist, Simon has gained particular interest in the treatment of running injuries along with the management of neck and lower back pain. His ‘Physio Philosophy’ focuses on empowering each patient to understand and gain long-term resolution of their symptoms whilst also using effective manual techniques to help relieve pain.
When not working, Simon enjoys playing sport, training for his next marathon, going to the football to watch the mighty Blues, and reciting poetry to his beautiful wife Amy!

Samantha De Biasi – Practice Manager
As our Practice Manager, Sam heads up the administration team at Back In Motion Blackburn. We were very lucky to ‘steal’ Sam from Back In Motion Wantirna South, where she had been working wonders for over two years as part of their administration team. After completing a Diploma of Business Administration and a Medical Terminology course, Sam further honed her skills at Wantirna South before joining our practice in 2010.
Sam’s positive outlook is contagious, and she has further brightened up our clinic with her warm and generous personality. Sam has a keen interest in all sports, especially swimming and horse riding, and is also an enthusiastic addition to Back In Motion’s emerging leadership program run by the Iceberg Institute™.

Hayley Edmunds – Clinical Associate (Physiotherapist)
