    James Schomburgk - Practice Director

    James Schomburgk is a Practice Director and musculoskeletal physiotherapist, whose interests are training his team weekly to keep them up to date with the newest advances in spinal and joint care.

    Outside work, he enjoys travel, bushwalking, and spending time watching his children grow up!

  • Jodie Downes – Practice Director

    Jodie Downes – Practice Director

    Jodie has been working with Back In Motion for over three years, coming from a varied background which has mainly consisted of finance and administration.

    In her spare time Jodie likes spending time with her partner and children and looks forward to a long and rewarding future with Back In Motion.

    Tim Shackleford – Clinical Supervisor

    Tim was born and educated in South Australia. After completing his Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of South Australia he moved to Sydney where he met his lovely wife Liz. They remained in Sydney for 3 years before travelling to the UK and then returning to Adelaide in 2007. Tim began working with James Schomburgk in May 2007 and has never looked back.

    When Tim is not helping his patients achieve life-long health, he enjoys fishing, cooking, and swing dancing. He also loves playing with his puppies, Abbie and Bailey.

  • Rebekah Smith – Clinical Service Coordinator

    Rebekah Smith – Clinical Service Coordinator

    Bek left a career in research to start a new life as a physiotherapist in 2007, and she hasn’t looked back! She loves helping people learn how to move with greater ease and comfort, and finds she is always learning new things along the way as well.

    Bek has a special interest in mind-body exercise and uses many techniques from the areas of yoga, Pilates, tai chi and Feldenkrais with her clients.

    Away from her physiotherapy work, Bek does her best to practice what she preaches by teaching group exercise classes, swimming regularly, and balancing out her life with good food and good friends.

  • Monique Adams - Clinical Associate (Physiotherapist)

    Monique Adams - Clinical Associate (Physiotherapist)

    Monique is an enthusiastic member of the Cambelltown team. She started work here in 2008 and quickly developed a love for sporting injuries, Pilates and acupuncture.

    However, that didn’t stop Monique from taking a year off to see the world! Upon her return in early 2011, Monique was excited to have rejoined an extremely fun-loving team of experienced physiotherapists.

    Monique’s most recent passion is surfing, which follows a life-long interest in outdoor activities including water skiing, snowboarding, and netball.

  • Kate Murdoch - Clinical Associate (Physiotherapist)

    Kate Murdoch - Clinical Associate (Physiotherapist)

    Moving from country Victoria, Kate completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of South Australia in 2007. She has worked in a variety of settings including acute care and rehabilitation in hospitals; however, she has spent the last year at Back In Motion.

    As well as treating musculoskeletal conditions, Kate has a special interest in neurology and has experience treating patients with strokes, brain injury, brain tumours, and other progressive neurological diseases.

    In her spare time, Kate loves to travel the world and has been fortunate enough to see South America, Europe and Asia so far. She also recently purchased a surfboard and is enjoying spending most of her weekends falling off it.

  • Marcus Sia – Clinical Associate (Physiotherapist)

    Marcus Sia – Clinical Associate (Physiotherapist)

    Marcus has been working in private practice since graduating from the University of South Australia. His special interest areas are spinal injuries, shoulder injuries, and headaches.

    Marcus believes in a holistic approach combining various treatment techniques, including acupuncture, in the process of rehabilitation. He is also a strong advocate of self-empowering his patients in their recovery.

    In his spare time he is a very keen rock climber and pretends to be a photographer.

  • Jug Vidovic – Clinical Associate (Physiotherapist)

    Jug Vidovic – Clinical Associate (Physiotherapist)

    Jug Vidovic is a graduated physiotherapist from the University of South Australia with a passion for treating spinal pain and helping his patients achieve long-term goals while helping them prevent reoccurrences of their pain and disability. 

    As well as providing hands on musculoskeletal therapy, Jug also teaches Pilates and personal training classes, which are all tailored to the patient so that their strength, flexibility, control of movement and quality of life recover.

  • Jess Watson - Clinical Associate (Physiotherapist)

    Jess Watson - Clinical Associate (Physiotherapist)

    Jess joined Back In Motion after completing her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of South Australia. She is a keen cyclist and basketball player, and understands the needs of the active person.

    Jess will carefully consider your goals when devising your treatment plan, and her holistic approach to musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy integrates hands-on treatment, Pilates and exercise coaching designed to keep you moving better for longer.

  • Alastair Wheaton – Clinical Associate (Physiotherapist)

    Alastair Wheaton – Clinical Associate (Physiotherapist)

    Alastair completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of South Australia in 2009. He is interested in sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapy, providing both hands-on treatment and individually tailored exercises.

    Alastair loves to play sports, especially basketball and football, has a passion for music, and loves a good laugh.

  • Stacey Stoneman - Physiotherapist

    Stacey Stoneman - Physiotherapist

    Stacey completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Auckland University of Technology following completion of a Bachelor of Sports Studies and working as a personal trainer for several years.  Personal training was great and he loved helping other people to enjoy exercising and pushing themselves but felt that he needed a little bit more so that he could both treat and train his clients.

    In physiotherapy his interests include the treatment of back pain and chronic problems, having suffered disc and sciatic pain himself.  He is looking forward to getting involved in local sports teams as a physio and he himself enjoys playing basketball and exercising.

    Shanna relates well with our athletic and active patients as she teaches dance in her spare time, and is valued at Back In Motion Campbelltown for her energy, kindness and compassion.

    Maria Piantedosi - Receptionist

    Maria has been a receptionist with Back In Motion since 2008 and loves being part of a great team. In her spare time she enjoys going to the movies ,going to gym and spending time with her family and friends. She is also fluent in Italian.
