Our Practice

Who we are

We provide physiotherapy, massage, clinical Pilates, and exercise and rehab to Balwyn and surrounding suburbs. We have one-on-one and semi-private classes and because our services are delivered by physiotherapists you can claim them on private health insurance with extras cover.

Why we're different

A "quick-fix" for your pain or injury might sound good, but over time is proven to be inconvenient, costly and ineffective in comparison to taking preventative measures. Our unique clinical approach, Results4Life, keeps you on track towards optimal lifelong physical health.

Our guarantee

We are committed to your satisfaction and delivering the very best in physiotherapy care, customer service and outcomes. If you are not 100% satisfied with your experience at Back In Motion, we will refund your money and deliver your next session free.

Kirstie is originally from West Yorkshire in the UK. Whilst being a proud Yorkshire Lass, she is enjoying ‘life down under’ immensely. She initially moved to Adelaide and started working for Back In Motion. When the decision to move to Melbourne was made, she was very happy to be able to stay within the Back In Motion Franchise. You will find her most days in reception and she is looking forward to meeting everyone.

Kirstie is looking forward to exploring Melbourne and experiencing life here. In her spare time she enjoys reading, running, hiking and attempting to cook (it doesn’t always turn out very well).

Ben Mason

Ben spent far too much of his adolescent life on the other side of the physio’s office, the result of a long history of basketball-induced injuries. This time spent as a patient piqued Ben’s interest in physio, which led to him studying the Doctor of Physiotherapy course at the University of Melbourne. Now (mostly) injury-free himself, Ben has a special interest in the management of acute injuries in athletes, spending his Saturday afternoons looking after the Marcellin Old Collegians Football Club.
In his spare time, Ben still enjoys playing basketball, and closely follows most sports, always happy to talk about the footy as long as Geelong is winning!
