Meet our team: Simon Holt!
We sat down with Clinic Director, Simon Holt and asked him to answer some quirky and insightful questions:
What made you become a physiotherapist?
Always having an interest in the human body and how it worked and a desire to work in a profession that genuinely helped people and made a positive difference in people’s lives.
Who or what inspires you?
Striving to be the best family member I can be- husband, father, son, brother, uncle.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Either out of this world into space to be able to look back on earth and see that view, or if it has to be somewhere in this world, to the deepest part of the ocean to see what’s down there (probably a lot of nothing!).
What is your favourite sport?
Australian rules football.
What movie or TV show do you recommend watching?
Bluey on ABC kids! Or to go back a while to a TV show that you may not have heard of, Damages with Rose Byrne and Glenn Close- so good!
What is your favourite healthy meal to prepare?
A really rich chocolate fondant (even better if prepared by my wife Amy) which is healthy for my soul.
What is your favourite form of exercise?
Running for sure.
If you were a superhero, what power would you have?
I always think xray, or even better MRI, vision would be really handy as a physio. But I think I’d choose flying.
How do you unwind and relax?
Go for a run in the morning then hang out with my family all day.
