Dan graduated in 2010 from La Trobe University in Melbourne and has since been nurturing a special interest in shoulder pathology. He has completed advanced training with Dr. Lyn Watson (Melbourne Shoulder Group). Dan has a passion for evidence based practice, contributing to the evolution of the physiotherapy profession through a number of shoulder research projects. Dan works alongside leading shoulder orthopaedic surgeons at the Melbourne Orthopaedic Group and tutors at the Lyn Watson Shoulder courses run for physiotherapists in both Melbourne and Canada.
Since graduating, Dan has been working in private practice to improve the lives of his clients through patient-specific management of shoulder issues, posture related problems, sporting injuries and post-operative rehabilitation. His patients range from desk workers & weekend warriors, right through to high level elite athletes (both young and older). He is a strong believer in empowerment through education, empathy driven rehabilitation and holistic care. Dan undertakes a ‘Clinical Mentoring’ role here at Back In Motion Camberwell, developing the skills of other physiotherapists in the team in addition to treating his own clients.
Outside of work, Dan keeps himself active running & in the gym. He's extensively travelled, and has a passion for good quality scotch!
