Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, Portia completed her Bachelor of Kinesiology (Exercise Science) minoring in Dance Studies at the University of Western Ontario. As a trained dancer, she holds an Advanced 2 Ballet Certification from the Royal Academy of Dance and has competed in various dance styles at the University level. Portia developed a strong interest in health and fitness through her involvement with dance and sports. This ultimately led to her going to to complete her Doctor of Physiotherapy studies at the University of Melbourne. Subsequently, Portia has delved into the world of AFL, working at a number of local footy clubs providing sports rehabilitation and prevention program for players. She is passionate about working with clients of all ages and abilities to reach their personal health and well being goals.
Portia is fluent in English, Cantonese & Mandarin. In her spare time, she is often out on local park runs or trying out new recipes in her kitchen!
