Growing up in the Goulburn Valley, Sophie developed a passion for health and fitness through her own sporting endeavours playing competitive netball and basketball. She made the move to Melbourne in 2011 where she completed a Bachelor of Science (Anatomy Major) and Doctor of Physiotherapy at The University of Melbourne.
Sophie enjoys treating a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries and has completed additional courses on Dry Needling, Continence and Women's Health, the Back/Pelvis, the Sporting Hip/Groin and the Shoulder. Sophie works closely with 2 leading Melbourne foot/ankle orthopaedic surgeons and this has further developed her interest and expertise in ankle/foot conditions. She is also passionate about Women’s Health including post pregnancy return to exercise and the treatment of mastitis.
Over the past 5 years, Sophie has honed her sports injury management skills though her work with the Old Ivanhoe Grammarians Football Club (where she is currently Head Physiotherapist), as well as her coverage of several national softball and netball tournaments.
Sophie loves to catch up with friends, travel back to country Victoria to visit family and go camping. She is a tragic Richmond Tigers supporter, with the 2017 year providing her with an all time high - a Richmond premiership & Dustin Martin winning the Brownlow!
