Yes, you can!
To claim for Physiotherapy through Medicare you would need to have a chronic medical condition that has been present for 3 months or longer.
You will need to make an appointment with your Doctor/GP first and ask for a Referral and an Enhanced Primary Care Plan (EPC) for Physiotherapy at Back in Motion Como. This allows you to have a maximum of 5 Physiotherapy sessions per calendar year covered by Medicare. Once used for the calendar year, you would need to receive a new referral when allowed or pay privately for your treatments.
Extra fees apply if you are receiving any of our speciality treatments as below-
- Shockwave Therapy $60
- High Powered Laser $30
- Womens/Mens Health Appointment $45
- Scoliosis Appointment $45
- Pulmonary Appointment $45
- Oncology Appointment $45
Medicare and Private Health cannot be used in the same appointment, payment for any extra treatments must be made outright.
