Our Practice

Who we are

We provide physiotherapy, massage, clinical Pilates, and exercise and rehab to Melton and surrounding suburbs. We have one-on-one and semi-private classes and because our services are delivered by physiotherapists you can claim them on private health insurance with extras cover.

Why we're different

A "quick-fix" for your pain or injury might sound good, but over time is proven to be inconvenient, costly and ineffective in comparison to taking preventative measures. Our unique clinical approach, Results4Life, keeps you on track towards optimal lifelong physical health.

Our guarantee

We are committed to your satisfaction and delivering the very best in physiotherapy care, customer service and outcomes. If you are not 100% satisfied with your experience at Back In Motion, we will refund your money and deliver your next session free.

Our Service Offering

done Clinical Pilates

We offer individual and small group clinical Pilates classes taught by qualified professionals and physiotherapists. Unlike group classes at a gym, our approach to Pilates is clinically proven and specifically tailored to your needs. These tailored exercises target problem areas ensuring greater results and minimising the risk of injury re-aggravation.

You will use a combination of specialised Pilates equipment including reformers and trapeze table complimented by floor-based exercises depending on your needs. This brings about better targeting and resistance as you progress in your Pilates program.

done Exercise and Rehab

Whether you’re looking to increase your fitness or get back into exercise after time off or injury, an exercise and rehabilitation session will get you off to a good start.

Our physiotherapists can design programs to cater to your every need including weight loss, injury rehabilitation, fitness and endurance training as well as strengthening and toning.

Your physio knows your body and has the scientific and clinical knowledge to ensure your workout is both safe and caters to your abilities and previous injury history.

done Massage

When you get a massage from a physiotherapist you are benefiting from four plus years of dedicated university study on the human body.

Sporting clubs, athletes, and massage devotees see our expert physios and therapists for a reason: because we know your body and can identify the causes of aches, pains, and soreness, ensuring a better result every time.

A massage conducted by our physios will see a reduction in your aches and pains, whether caused by sport, injury or the stresses and strains of everyday life.

done Physiotherapy

Quick-fixes or shortcuts are not something we strive for during your consultation. The swift management of your pain and symptoms is only the first step our team will take to help you achieve lasting results.

We believe in getting the right result the first time so you can get back to what you love without the threat of re-injury.

Our focus is not only on offering talented physiotherapists, but also delivering a great physiotherapy experience.

You will be surprised at all the physical health benefits that come with sticking to your personal treatment plan including improved flexibility, mobility and strength.

done Custom Orthotics

When a small problem develops in your feet, a subtle change in the way you walk can cause a chain reaction that alters your posture and movement mechanics. The symptom of poor foot mechanics can include localised foot pain, bunions, arch or heel pain, leg or knee pain, hip or back pain – and even neck pain! Custom orthotics have been shown to correct these issues, giving you improved balance, posture, and general wellbeing.

Johnoel Esmaquel

Physiotherapist (Clinical Associate)

Jon initially completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Science before moving into a Masters in Physiotherapy Practice at La Trobe University.

Throughout his childhood and teenage years, he spent most of his time playing sport such as basketball, volleyball, soccer and footy. His initial contact with physiotherapy occurred after he sustained an injury, which required surgery and was told that he was not able to play contact sport for four years.

Due to his injuries and subsequent training his physiotherapy knowledge increased. He is now a very accomplished physiotherapist with passion of helping his clients through their health and well-being journey.

Jon now predominantly plays basketball, where he learns to prevent and rehabilitate his own injuries.

He has a keen interesting in rehabilitating sporting injuries and focuses on correcting biomechanical dysfunction and muscle movement patterns. He draws his experience from his background dealing with elite level sporting athletes, such as being head physiotherapist for the U21s and U14s Hockey Victoria State teams in 2015. His knowledge and love for sport allows him to relate to clients on a more specific level and tailor rehabilitation to return to sport.

When not in the clinic, he spends most of his time at the gym, playing his guitar and mixing up some beats, cheering on his beloved Richmond Tigers or rehabilitating his own injuries. He also has a soft spot and admiration for people with amazing ink artwork.

Travelling the world is on top of his very long bucket list.
