New Balance Class starting Monday 16th April

We are excited to announce the start of a new balance class aimed at helping our clients improve their balance and increase their confidence.

Your balance can be greatly improved regardless of age, through targeted exercises focusing on balance, strength and multi-tasking.  During the class you will practice a variety of exercises that challenge your balance, co-ordination and mobility so you are able to meet your won personal balance goals.

This class will be run and supervised by Shona Manning, one of our highly trained physiotherapists who works primarily in balance and falls prevention, in a small group environment with maximum class sizes of just 8 people.  You will be also be provided with simple exercises to practice at home, education around fall prevention as needed, and learn different techniques for getting on and off the floor.

A FREE balance assessment will be conducted prior to you commencing your class to help you set your balance goals and identify problem areas and the first class will also be FREE in order for you to see if it is for you.

Should you decide to go ahead and commit to your balance goals - a package of 10 sessions will be $280 – which may be claimable with your private health fund if you have physiotherapy in your Extras.
