Professional Development (PD) is so important with many professions in order to keep up to date with progress in their respective fields.

The same goes for physiotherapy and exercise physiology. In fact, it is a requirement of our professional registration through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) that all registered health practitioners undertake minimum hours in professional development across the year. For Physiotherapists, this is 20 hours. ESSA (The body managing professionals including Exercise Physiologists) also require this.

We are proud of our program in clinic. We run weekly 1 hour professional development sessions, regular mentoring with all staff, larger group PD sessions (up to 6 times per year) as well as a range of head office initiatives, conferences, web lectures and other learning opportunities. And then of course, there is the external PD as well!

You can never stop learning - especially when there are developments in treatments, conditions and approaches. This enables us to get the best outcomes for our patients.
