Matthew Tayler – Practice Director
Matthew is Director and co-owner, together with his wife Nicole. Previously, Matthew has worked in sales management within the electrical industry. He has taken on this new role to run the business.

Nicole Tayler – Principal Physiotherapist
Nicole is both Practice Director and Principal Physiotherapist. Nicole graduated from the University of Melbourne with honours in 2007. Nicole has a passion for women’s health and hopes pursue further professional development in this area.

Cheng Yu Yang – Clinical Supervisor
Cheng is the Clinical Supervisor and head physiotherapist at the practice. He graduated from Melbourne University in 2004. He is passionate towards the challenge of treating and rehabilitating spinal conditions especially chronic low back pain and headaches.
Cheng has completed courses such as the Level 1 Dean Watson Headache approach, McKenzie therapy for treating low back pain, Level 1 Clinical Pilates and spinal and peripheral Mulligan mobilizations. He also follows closely the current research of Peter O’Sullivan into the biopsychosocial management of chronic low back pain. Cheng enjoys working closely with his clients to empower and direct them towards achieving their goals and forming good lifelong habits.
Outside the practice, Cheng is an active member of his local church in Springvale, enjoys his weekly soccer hit outs for his club (despite wins being rare) and spending time with his family and friends.

Michael Chamberlain – Clinical Associate (Physiotherapist)
Mick graduated from the Monash University Bachelor of Physiotherapy with 1st class Honours in 2010, and joined Back In Motion at the start of 2011. Mick was one of a handful of students in his class to graduate with a High Distinction average, producing a research thesis into the health of older Australians, for which he also achieved a high distinction.
Mick’s special interests include sports physiotherapy and rehabilitation, and in particular recovery from football injuries.
Mick played state representative football and baseball as a junior athlete, and this has carried over into his passion for sports physiotherapy.

Bec Rowe - Clinical Associate (Physiotherapist)
Bec graduated from the University of Melbourne with Honours. She takes great delight in tackling challenging injuries as is evident in her post-graduate studies in lumbar spine assessment and treatment.
Bec’s areas of interest include treating acute and chronic neck and back pain, postural problems and women’s health. She has also had experience working with acute sporting injuries during her time spent working for Beaumaris Football Club.
Bec has a strong passion for Pilates, as she believes strongly in the beneficial effects it can have on pain, rehabilitation, and general fitness.
